The Sidewalk Vending Machine
I thought I'd add this one to Japanese lore since the sidewalk vendor is important to Japanese life, especially in busy places like Tokyo where space isn't cheep and getting in a good days work is important, hense enter the time saving vendor of everything from coffee, to aspirin, to beer, to sex toys?
The sidewalk vening machine came about out of need to support the sallery man on his daily morning sojournal to work. Why waste time stopping at a packed coffee shop when you could get a piping hot can of Lottes from the passing dispensor?
Now a days it seems anything can be sold from the trusty vendor box, even those Smart Cars.
Umbrellas? Yeah, even umbrellas!
Are they not cool? We need more of these in Seattle.
